On September 30, 2024, Consul General Euy Whan Kim met with President Kwang Seok Kim of the Korean American Association of Greater New York. The discussion focused on expanding the participation of promising next-generation Korean community members, fostering the identity of multicultural families and adoptees, and building a cooperative network with Chinese American organizations in the United States to ensure future community growth.

The meeting was also attended by Yoon Hee Choi, President of the Korean Parent Association of New York, and the Consul in charge of community affairs.
