Organised by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) and supported by the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong (KCC), a series of hybrid and onsite events under the theme "Hallyu" (Korean Wave)” will be held from 7 to 29 October 2024. Renowned speakers will guide audiences through diverse topics, including the reinterpretation of traditional Korean ceramics into modern art, Korean makeup and hairstyling, cartoon creation and animation, as well as film production.

"Kingmaker" is a 2022 Korean film based on a true story of South Korean politics. This film depicts the complex relationship and power dynamics between former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung and his political strategist over the course of Kim’s political endeavors.
