Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center in Poland, as part of the 35th anniversary of Korea-Poland diplomatic relations, co-hosted a performance by the music project group “Bando” with the Jarasum Jazz Festival at BARdzo Bardzo in Warsaw. Located in the heart of the city, this venue is a hub for live music, showcasing a wide range of genres from indie rock and electronic to jazz and classical, with artists from around the world gracing its stage. The performance, held on November 12, attracted about 100 attendees and concluded successfully.


During the concert, “Bando” passionately presented pieces inspired by the Korean Peninsula’s topography, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience. Notably, the performance highlighted the sound and charm of Korea’s traditional instrument, the geomungo, sparking greater interest in traditional Korean culture. After the event, the audience shared their heartfelt impressions and expressed regret that the concert had ended.
