Korean Cultural Center Turkiye successfully held the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra & Pianist Moon Ji-young's K-Classical Concert.
This concert was held in collaboration with the Borusan Art Foundation on November 28th (Thursday) at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage in Istanbul.
In the first half of the concert, pianist Moon Ji-young performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 22 in E-flat major, showcasing her delicate expression and pure, natural sound to the local classical music enthusiasts. She captivated the audience, filling the 2,300-seat venue. In the second half, the orchestra played Mozart's Symphony No. 28 in C major, filling the autumn night in Istanbul with Mozart's melodies, in line with the concert's theme, 'With Love' from Mozart.
Audience member Buse Köse stated, "I was already aware of the exceptional skills of Korean classical performers, but seeing it live was truly impressive. I had been disappointed that there aren't many Korean-related performances in Istanbul, so I'm really happy and grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful concert in a beautiful venue."
