2024 55th, 56th The Korean Culture Experience Workshop for LAPD

Since 2008, the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles has regularly organized the Korean Culture Experience Workshop for LAPD, which has involved more than 2,000 police officers.
The workshop is held five times yearly for 30-40 participating officers. It includes lectures on topics such as “Korean History, Past, and Present,” “Understanding Korean Society,” “Overview of Korean American History and Community,” and “Post-LA Uprising Transformations,” as well as cultural experiences such as tasting Korean food, enjoying a traditional music performance, and watching a Taekwondo demonstration.
