On October 16, 2024, Consul General Euy Whan Kim met with Dean Jelani Cobb at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

During the meeting, Consul General Kim discussed the importance of Korea-U.S. relations in Korea's development and exchanged views on the role of the media in supporting democracy and a market economy.

They also explored potential collaboration opportunities to nurture and support the next generation of Korean journalists.
