On March 10, a special event featuring author Park Sang-young was held at Kulturhuset in Stockholm.

The event included two screenings of Love in the Big City, a film adaptation of Park’s novel of the same name. After the first screening, the author was joined by Kim Eunah, the translator of his book into Swedish, for a discussion with the audience. 

The conversation covered a wide range of topics, including the differences between the novel and the film, how Korean literature and society perceive and engage with LGBTQ+ themes, and the process of translating the novel.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask the author questions, receive signed copies of his book, and participate in various activities. The event was met with great enthusiasm, and we sincerely thank everyone who took part.
