The Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, in partnership with CULTSP PRO – School for Cultural Professionals, announces that registration for the 2025 K-Dance course will open on March 17 at 10:00 AM.


The K-Dance course focuses on learning dance techniques found in K-Pop, including various styles that make up the South Korean musical genre. This year, classes will be structured as annual programs and divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.


Below, you will find all relevant information regarding the course, including rules, class schedules, and the registration form link. We kindly ask all interested individuals to carefully read the details before registering.


About the Course

  • Registration Period: March 17–21, 2025
  • Registration Method: Google Forms
    • - The registration form will be available starting March 17 at 10:00 AM and will close on March 21 at 3:00 PM.
    • - Link: https://forms.gle/swtsSNWyAvGcAV1L7
    • - After completing and submitting the form, applicants will receive a copy of their response via email. This does not guarantee selection for the course. If selected, students will receive a confirmation email directly from KD Studios on March 26.
  • Course Duration: 6 months (April – October 2025) (total: 50 classes)
  • Location: São Paulo Companhia de Dança (SPCD)
  • Address: Rua Três Rios, 363, Bom Retiro, São Paulo/SP
  • Available Spots: 25 per class
  • Selection Method: Evaluation of submitted materials (see “About the Selection” for more details)
  • Minimum Age: 16 years
  • Format: In-person
  • Course Fee: Free
  • Notification of Selected Candidates: Individual email notification on March 26.

About the Selection


To apply, candidates must submit the required documents listed below according to the desired level:

  • Beginner Level
    • - Letter of interest
    • - Link to a dance video (does not need to be professionally recorded and can be in any dance style)
  • Intermediate Level
    • - Letter of interest
    • - Resume
    • - Dance course certificates or portfolio (minimum of one year of proven dance training)
    • - Link to a dance video (does not need to be professionally recorded and can be in any dance style)
  • Advanced Level
    • - Letter of interest + resume
    • - Dance course certificates or portfolio (minimum of two years of proven dance training)
    • - Portfolio of completed work (links to performances, video showcases, shows, competitions, workshop videos, flyers, etc.)
    • - Link to a video of the candidate dancing K-Pop and other dance style
  • - Candidates will be selected by the course coordinator based on the submitted documentation.
  • - Selected candidates will receive a confirmation email on March 26, 2025.
  • - Only selected candidates will receive a confirmation email. Those not selected will be automatically placed on the waiting list.
    • - There is no set timeframe for calling individuals from the waiting list. If spots become available due to cancellations, the coordinator will contact candidates in order of initial registration.

Course Rules

  • - Students who are absent four times and/or register but fail to attend the first class will be removed from the course and will not be allowed to register again for one year.
  • - Each person must use only one email for registration and may register only once. If a candidate is found to have used multiple emails or registered for more than one class, they will lose their spot.
    • - If a student needs to change their registered email, they must notify the course coordinator.

Classes and Schedules

  • Beginner: Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Intermediate: Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • Advanced: Saturday, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
