Events at KCCs abroad

On Friday, April 11, the Korean Cultural Center in the UAE held a Korean cultural experience event at Korea 360, which recently opened at Dubai Festival City Mall. Korea 360 is the world's second comprehensive Korean culture platform, following its first launch in Indonesia. It offers hands-on experience in various fields leading the Korean Wave, including K-content, culture, fashion, food, and beauty. The platform aims to strengthen cultural and economic exchange and cooperation.

During the event, visitors enjoyed programs such as writing their names in Hangeul (the Korean alphabet), trying on Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing), and making Hangeul bracelets. Many participants had fun receiving their names written in Korean and taking photos in Hanbok throughout the venue. In particular, those who joined the Making Hangeul Bracelet activity learned simple Korean words like "Saranghae(I love you)", "Sojunghae(You are precious)", and "Gomawo(Thank you)", and were impressed by the sound and meaning of the Korean language.

Once local female participant shared that she had been eagerly waiting for the opening of Korea 360 - a place where you can experience all aspects of Hallyu in one spot. She also expressed her excitement for future programs to be held there.

The Korean Cultural Center in the UAE will continue to offer diverse cultural programs so that Korean culture can be more accessible and familiar to people from all around the world.
