Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center in Poland, in collaboration with Kraków’s Waznianova Theater, will host a performance of Koo Jaha's Haribo Kimchi on April 24 (Thursday) and April 25 (Friday).

Haribo Kimchi is a new work by Korean theater maker and composer Koo Jaha, combining music, innovative video, and robotic performers to reflect on cultural assimilation, conflicts, and paradoxes.

This performance is a joint project with Waznianova Theater, located in the Nowa Huta area of Kraków. Through this collaboration, we aim to present Haribo Kimchi, a work of performance art that blends Korean emotions with contemporary artistic expressions, offering Polish audiences a unique opportunity to experience the originality and sensory aesthetics of modern Korean art.

Koo Jaha, the composer and artist, is currently a resident artist at the Campo Arts Center in Belgium. He has won the YAA Foundation Arts Award for Theater Music in the Netherlands and has performed more than 300 times in 27 countries, spreading Korean emotional expressions across the globe.

We look forward to seeing many people attend and engage with this performance.
