Students, friends and family members gathered with their certificates in hand

On April 25, 2025, the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil hosted the first Taekwondo Belt Advancement Test of the year. This special event brought together not only students enrolled in the Cultural Center's Taekwondo classes but also participants from the University of São Paulo (USP) Taekwondo program, making the occasion even more meaningful.

The test was held in the Center’s auditorium, with Masters Lim Yeon-chul, Sunjune Lee, and Jonas serving as judges to evaluate the students' skills. Over 110 family members and friends of the participants filled the venue, creating a lively and supportive atmosphere. The auditorium resonated with cheers and powerful kihap (spirit shouts), generating a vibrant energy full of both excitement and anticipation.

Students, who had diligently encouraged and pushed one another throughout their training, demonstrated outstanding focus and strong spirit on the day of the test, approaching the evaluation with sincerity and determination. As a result of their hard work, all 66 participants successfully passed the promotion test. The smiles of the students as they received their certificates captured a moment of hard-earned achievement and pride.
