The grand Songkran Festival in Thailand has arrived! Celebrate the joy of the season with a heartwarming Songkran video from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand have created a Songkran video every year to celebrate Thailand's traditional festival "Songkran" by the Ministry of Culture, Thailand.

This year, H.E. Mr. Yongmin Park, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, visited students from the Korean International School of Bangkok (KISB) to learn about the Songkran Festival, alongside with a special K-POP artist, BamBam. Additionally, the students participated in the traditional Thai New Year ceremony, Rod Nam Dam Hua, by respectfully pouring water over the hands of elders and receiving their blessings.

In the video, H.E. Mr. Park expressed his respect and gratitude to the Korean War Veterans in Thailand and said, "The Republic of Korea will be the best friend of Thailand in the new year as well."
