Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong Collaborates with Madame Tussauds for K-pop Light Stick Showcase
The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong (KCCHK) has partnered with Madame Tussauds Hong Kong to present a special K-pop Light Stick Exhibition, now on display at the wax museum’s venue at The Peak.
As part of Madame Tussauds’ latest K-drama-themed photo zone featuring actor Ahn Hyo-seop, the light stick display highlights the diversity and evolution of official fan light sticks used by popular Korean idol groups. The exhibition is curated by KCCHK and aims to introduce the culture of K-pop fandom to a broader audience in a tangible and visually engaging way.
The collaboration brings together two ongoing efforts: Madame Tussauds’ expansion into Hallyu-related experiences, and KCCHK’s mission to promote Korean culture through exhibitions, education, and public programming in Hong Kong.
The light stick display will remain on view alongside the Ahn Hyo-seop wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Visitors can see the exhibit as part of the general admission experience.
