Events at KCCs abroad

New Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) Director officially commenced duties amid the excitement of the 2025 K‑Pop Festival in Abuja. The festival, showcasing Nigerian talent in a cultural celebration, concluded with Xtreme Movement Crew winning both the ₦800,000 grand dance prize and the ₦200,000 audience popularity award for their dynamic performance of Ateez’s “Ice On My Teeth.” Held at Abuja, this edition featured 18 finalists—10 singing and 8 dance teams. In the dance category, Xtreme Dance Crew took second place (₦600k) and Zoned‑IN DC placed third (₦400k). Meanwhile, in singing, MacWhitney Myles-Iranyohe won with ₦500k, followed by Goodness Ohwodiasa (₦300k) and Onuh Blessing (₦200k). Group leader Damina Luka credited five months of rigorous rehearsal combining Nigerian flair with Ateez choreography. Director Jeon Juho praised the event as a crucial avenue for cultural exchange, expressing high hopes for Nigerian representatives at the global finals in Korea .
