At the 2025 K‑Pop Festival in Abuja, hosted by the Korea Cultural Center Nigeria (KCCN), The Xtreme Movement Crew, a Nigerian dance group of three, won the grand dance prize of ₦800,000 plus an audience-voted ₦200,000 popularity award for their performance of Ateez’s "Ice On My Teeth." A female singer, MacWhitney Myles-Iranyohe, clinched the singing category, securing ₦500,000. Both winners will represent Nigeria at the global finals in South Korea. The competition featured 18 finalists (10 singing teams, 8 dance teams). Group leader Damina Luka revealed they trained for five months, blending Ateez’s moves with Nigerian flair. KCCN Director Jeon Juho praised the event as a celebration of global cultural exchange and Nigeria’s growing K‑pop scene.
