The Korean Cultural Center in Brazil opens applications for the Cultural Fair "Bomre-dong, Munhwa-ro," to be held during the 2025 Korean Culture Festival, on August 16 and 17, at the Oswald de Andrade Building (Bom Retiro).

About the Recruitment
- Objectives
"Bomre-dong, Munhwa-ro" (Bomre-dong: Bom Retiro neighborhood; Munhwa-ro: Culture Street) is a cultural fair that aims at promoting cultural exchange in the Bom Retiro neighborhood of São Paulo/SP;
The event seeks to promote Korean cultural activity in the city by providing a space for artists, artisans, small entrepreneurs, and creators to showcase their work inspired by Korean culture — through crafts, art, fashion, gastronomy, or contemporary expressions;
In addition to strengthening the local Korean cultural scene, the event also aims to increase the visibility of people working with elements of Korean culture, building stronger links with the Brazilian public, neighborhood visitors, and the community in general.
- Requirements
Open to artists (individuals), collectives, and/or small companies (legal entities) that create and produce cultural products related to Korean culture;
- Event Date and Time
August 16 and 17, 2025.
Time to be confirmed. Estimate: 10 AM to 7 PM.
- Venue
- Number of spots: 15 tables;
Subject to possible changes depending on space availability.
Each selected participant, regardless of the type of product or activity, will be provided with the same items with the same specifications.

Sales/activity table (1.20m x 1.80m)
Signage and chair
- Additional details will be sent to selected participants afterwards.
About the Application
- Application Period: June 24 to July 9, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Brasília time)
- Application Method: Google Forms
Applications submitted via other methods will not be accepted.
- Application is free of charge. No fees will be charged for participation if selected.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee participation. Selection will be conducted by the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, taking into consideration the diversity, cultural aspects, and value of Korean culture presented by the applicants.
About the Selection Process
- Stage 1: Document Review
Candidates approved in this stage will be individually contacted to schedule an interview.
Results of the first stage will be announced by July 11, 2025, via email to selected applicants.
- Stage 2: Meeting/Interview
Date: Between July 14 and 18, 2025 (time to be confirmed)
More information about the meeting will be sent to selected applicants.
Final Notes
The applicant is responsible for any disadvantages caused by false information, errors in the application, or missing required documents.
