Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye successfully held the “K-Music Festival” at 3 PM on Saturday, May 31, at the Meb Şura Hall in Ankara, offering a rich showcase of the diverse charms of Korean culture.

This event was jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye and the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and was held in conjunction with Ankara’s representative cultural event, the “Capital Culture Street Festival.” Blending the modern appeal of K-POP with the elegance of traditional Korean culture, the festival delivered a unique cultural experience to local fans of Korean culture.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the “K-Pop Cover Dance Festival in Turkiye,” co-hosted with The Seoul Shinmun newspaper. Passionate K-pop cover dancers from across Turkiye captivated the audience by flawlessly recreating the choreography of their beloved K-pop artists. The venue was filled with enthusiastic cheers from local Hallyu fans, creating an electrifying atmosphere that showcased their deep affection for Korean music.

Serving as judges for the event were dancer and choreographer Yechan from 1MILLION Dance Studio, and renowned Turkish choreographer Gülşah Alan, both of whom also took to the stage to deliver special congratulatory performances for the fans.
