Events at KCCs abroad

Game industry's biggest convention E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2010 was held June 15 - June 17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. More than 45,000 people from 90 countries attended the expo. For gaming companies, E3 is about building their brand, showcasing titles and making the business connections. This year's show welcomed 300 exhibitors and appeared to bring the expected spectacles.

Two of the biggest headlines from E3 are Nintendo 3DS and Kinect for Xbox 360. Nintendo unveiled its handheld 3DS, which comes with both a touch-screen and 3D screen. No glasses are needed. Microsoft's new motion control sensor Kinect for Xbox 360 translates gamer's whole body movement into action on screen. Lots of new game titles were also introduced throughout the show. Korean company Nexon's PC game title "Vindictus" and free-to-play games were also introduced.
