On 21st of June, Mr. Hahm Jeong-han, the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand, attended the 14th Thai Silk Road to the World Festival. The event took place at the Navy Auditorium in Bangkok and was organized by Thailand's Ministry of Culture.
This event was organized in line with Queen Sirikit's vision to promote Thai silk globally, targeting diplomatic corps from around 90 countries stationed in Thailand. This year, students from Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi created Hanbok using Thai silk.
Mr. Hahm and their families appeared on stage as models, showcasing the beauty of Hanbok, which received great cheers from the audience.
In the future, the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand will continue to promote and support cultural exchanges between Korea and Thailand.
