The Korean Cultural Center in Brazil announces that registration for the Korean language course (Sejong Hakdang) for the first semester of 2025 will open on July 25 at 10:00 AM.

This Korean language course, certified by the government of South Korea and operated by the King Sejong Institute, offers classes from Level 1 to Level 9, covering everything from beginner to advanced levels.

Below, you will find all relevant information regarding the course, including rules, class schedules, and the registration form link. We kindly ask all interested individuals to carefully read the details before registering.

About the Course

● Registration Period: July 25–31, 2025

● Registration Method: Google Forms

- The registration form will be available starting July 25 at 10:00 AM and will close on July 31 at 11:59 PM.

● Course Duration: August 05 – November 25, 2025 (total: 30 classes)

● Placement Test Date: August 02 via Zoom (more details will be provided via email to selected candidates). 

● Location: Korean Cultural Center in Brazil

● Address: Avenida Paulista, 460, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP

● Available Spots: 16 per class

- Students from previous semester(s) and participants of workshops held in the first semester, such as “The Birth of King Sejong” will have priority in enrollment (except for students who failed Level 1). The remaining spots will be allocated to new students.

● Selection Method: First-come, first-served (based on registration order)

- New students will be selected in the order of registration, but the number of available spots may be limited due to the priority given to the cases mentioned above.

● Minimum Age: 15 years

● Format: In-person

● Course Fee: Free

- Purchasing the Sejong Hakdang textbook is mandatory. The book costs R$80 (eighty Brazilian reais) and must be acquired at the reception of the Korean Cultural Center on the first day of class.

● Notification of Selected Candidates: Individual email notification on August 02.
