Events at KCCs abroad

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) announced that 21 smart schools are now operational in Nigeria, as part of the $10 million KOICA-Nigeria Smart Education Project launched in 2021. Supported by the Korean government, the initiative provided advanced facilities and content development studios in six pilot schools, improving teachers’ ICT skills and enabling the creation of digital learning materials. The project has reached over 8,000 learners in 21 states, boosting school enrollment, reducing out-of-school children, and enhancing education quality through technology and innovative teaching.
