On August 16, 2025, the Calligraphy and Korean Painting Association of Brazil, in collaboration with the Korean Calligraphy and Art Promotion Association (Korea) and under the initiative of the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, held a formal appointment ceremony for invited artists at the Oswald de Andrade Cultural Center in São Paulo.

During the ceremony, Director Kim Cheul Hong of the Korean Cultural Center personally presented certificates of appointment to four resident artists in Brazil, officially recognizing them as invited artists. The newly appointed artists are Mok Eum (Jung Sang Han), So Yeun (Chun Ja Kang), Yu Kyung (Jong Woo Sim), and Uoo Tchon (Hwe Kwon Lee).

All four honorees have previously received distinctions at the Korea National Calligraphy and Art Exhibition, with works that highlight both excellence and originality. Their pieces are currently on display at the Korean Cultural Center in São Paulo, where the exhibition runs from August 12 to August 30, offering the local Korean community as well as the wider Brazilian public an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Korean calligraphy and painting.
