On July 31, 49 students from Nong Bua Pittayakan School in Nong Bua Lamphu Province, located about 530 kilometers northeast of Bangkok, visited KCC Thailand to experience various aspects of Korean culture.
Ms. Sunju Lee, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand, warmly welcomed the students who had traveled from afar. She hopes that through this visit, the students will have the opportunity to experience Korean culture firsthand, which is something not easily accessible to them, and enjoy their time at the Center.
On this day, the students made songpyeon with Korean food instructor Lee Hyunju. Although it was their first time, they showcased their skills by creating beautifully crafted songpyeon full of unique personal touches.
They also visited the <Production Design: Scene Architects Build On-Screen World> exhibition currently being held at the Center and participated in various activities, including playing Korean traditional games such as Tuho, Ddakjichigi and Jegichagi, and trying on hanbok for photos.
We sincerely hope that this field trip to experience Korean culture will help students in learning the Korean language.
