The Friends of Korea is a non-profit organization made up of returned Peace Corps volunteers from Korea, former Peace Corps staff, and others, all of whom are dedicated to the Peace Corps’ third goal: “helping Americans understand the people and cultures of other countries”. The Friends of Korea is committed to nurturing the very deep bonds so many of its members have forged with Korea and Koreans over the years and to keeping the spirit of volunteerism alive in the support of US-Korea friendship.
Membership meeting to be followed by a panel discussion. There will be a performance by the Korean American Youth Artists.
Plan on attending - renew friendships, make new friends.
Membership is open to anyone who has lived, worked, or volunteered in Korea, is planning to do business or visit there, is a student of Korea or the Korean language, or is simply interested in Korea.
