Participants gathered around for a picture, holding their soap crafts
On August 26, 2025, the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, with the support of Aucani, hosted the Traditional Soap Craft Workshop at the Korea Corner of USP’s International Intercultural Center. The event was open to the public and welcomed participants eager to explore Korean handmade techniques in a creative and accessible way.

During the session, attendees learned how to make soap using the MP base, a safe and practical method that allows even beginners to easily join the experience. Each participant was able to design and personalize their own soap by incorporating fragrances inspired by nature and traditional Korean patterns, reflecting the beauty and delicacy of Korean aesthetics.

Organized in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in São Paulo, the workshop is part of the Korea Corner’s cultural program, designed to promote Korean culture within the local community and among USP students.
The next workshop at USP will take place in September and will focus on Korean calligraphy applied to thermal tumblers. Registration is open until September 19.
