The Korean Cultural Center in Hungary returns to the Budapest International Book Festival with a diverse program lineup that offers insight into Korean literature, education, and visual storytelling. Visitors are welcome at the Center’s booth on the first floor of the Bálna, in the Aggházy Room.


Programs:


Roundtable discussion with ELTE’s Korean Department on the role of library collections in education, including digital resources and the integration of AI tools.

Presentation on Korean webtoons, a unique form of digital comics blending drama, humor, and contemporary issues with striking visuals.

Literary talk on Nobel laureate Han Kang’s latest novel, exploring themes of memory, trauma, and healing amid the backdrop of historical events.
