To celebrate Halloween, the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary is organizing a special Korean Horror Movie Marathon on November 1–2, 2025, at Sugár Cinema in Budapest. The two-day event will showcase six spine-chilling films from South Korea, known for its unique and psychologically intense approach to the horror genre.
The lineup includes popular titles such as GONJIAM: Haunted Asylum, The Priests, and Sleep, along with lesser-known but equally thrilling films like Noise, The Sin, and Idiot Girls and School Ghost: School Anniversary. Screenings will take place in the afternoon and evening over both days.
Tickets are priced at 1,490 HUF and will be available for purchase starting October 18 through the Sugár Cinema website and at the box office.
With this event, the Korean Cultural Center invites horror fans and cinema lovers to experience the chilling and creative storytelling that Korean horror films are renowned for.
