On December 16, the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the Korean Literature Translation Contest 2025, which took place on November 28 at the center.

In this contest, a total of 37 participants fully demonstrated their translation skills through the book <Seollal (Lunar New Year)> by author Kim Young-jin. The first prize winner was Ms. Kanokporn Rueangsa, who currently works as a freelance translator. Two other winners were Ms. Pimnapat Punampai and Ms. Chonthicha Wongsachai, who received the first and second runner-up awards, respectively.

We sincerely thank all participants for showcasing their love for the Korean language through this literature translation contest and hope that everyone will continue to take an interest in the Korean language as well as Korean literature in the future.
