Events at KCCs abroad


On December 16, the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand held the graduation ceremony for the 11th Korean Language Course for Tourism industry workers for the year 2025.




Ms. Sunju Lee, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand, Mr. Boonserm Khankaew, Deputy Director General of the Department of Tourism, Mr. Kang Jun, President of the Tourism Promotion Association of South Korea-Thailand, Dr. Suwat Suwandee, Vice President of Administrative Affairs at Kasem Bundit University, and Mr. Wasphon Atthapornthanaset, President of the Professional Tourist Guide Association of Thailand, attended the ceremony to congratulate the graduates.




During the ceremony, certificates of completion were presented, along with awards for outstanding students, including those who attended all classes and those who achieved excellent examination results. Ms. Suwajee Roobkhom, the student representative, shared her reflections, stating that the course was extremely beneficial, as it provided opportunities to learn the Korean language, participate in field studies at tourist sites, and gain a wide range of cultural experiences. She also expressed her sincere gratitude to the Korean Cultural Center.




In addition, the Arahan performance team presented a special traditional Korean performance to celebrate the achievements of all graduates. After the performance, all participants shared bibimbap, a dish symbolizing harmony and unity, marking the conclusion of the graduation ceremony.
