The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA, Director Lee Haedon), in partnership with the Korean-American Calligraphy Association (KACA), hosted the 34th Annual Exhibition of the Korean-American Calligraphy Association from November 20 to December 11, 2025.

The exhibition, themed “Diversity,” presented a wide range of traditional and contemporary calligraphic works reflecting each artist’s individuality and creative expression. Works by three distinguished guest artists and 34 member artists were featured, showcasing classical scripts, modern calligraphy, muninhwa, and English calligraphy.
The opening ceremony was held successfully with approximately 100 attendees, including association members, artists, and local art professionals. The program included welcome remarks, greetings, an introduction to the artworks, a lecture, and a congratulatory performance.

Founded in 1990, KACA has continuously promoted Korean calligraphy in the United States through exhibitions and educational activities. This exhibition was recognized as a comprehensive presentation of the artistic achievements of 37 Korean and Korean American calligraphers, effectively conveying Korean traditions, aesthetics, and cultural values.

Local media outlets, including the Beverly Press, The Korea Daily, and The Korea Times, covered the exhibition. KCCLA stated that it would continue collaborating with local arts organizations to promote Korean traditional arts through systematic, sustained cultural programs.
