The Korean Cultural Center in Brazil (KCCB) and the National Gugak Center present the free exhibition K-Pop Meets Traditional Korean Music, from Sept. 8 to Nov. 8 in São Paulo. The exhibition explores connections between contemporary K-pop and gugak, introducing visitors to traditional Korean music through three themes: Gut, Gat and Kkun.

The exhibition features instruments including the gayageum, haegeum and janggu, as well as traditional clothing and ritual objects. Visitors can also experience the Dangsan Tree, leave wishes and take part in traditional music performances and hands-on workshops. By connecting familiar elements of K-pop with traditional Korean musical heritage, the exhibition offers Brazilian audiences an opportunity to explore the cultural roots and traditions that continue to be reinterpreted in contemporary Korea.
