On February 9, 2016, The L.A. King Sejong Institute held its annual 'Lunar New Year's Celebration', attended by students, friends and family. The institute is located at the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles (KCCLA) and offers Korean language classes to over three hundred adults in seven levels. The celebrations included a special Korean dinner, welcoming words, an explanation of 'Seollal', traditional games and even a special 'samulnori' performance. Prizes, awards and gifts were given out at the end.
