Korean Calligraphy workshop in Rome

On Thursday, October 22, and Friday, October 23, the Korean Cultural Center in Italy held two Korean calligraphy workshops with Master Jeounghee Kim to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The event was also organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Hangeul Day, celebrating the Korean alphabet, and the 580th anniversary of the promulgation of the Hunminjeongeum, the first historical document introducing the Korean writing system.

Participants had the opportunity to learn how to write various phrases and their own names in Korean using a traditional brush. We would like to thank everyone who joined us once again, and we look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming events!
