Presented by the Lee Young Nam Dance Company, “Korean Dance in Style by Masters Series 2” will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 7:30pm on the 3rd floor of Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles in the Ari Hall.
This program includes the traditional dances ‘Seungjeonmu: Tongyeong Drum Dance’ (Victory Dance), ‘Maeheon Ip Chum’, ‘Scholar's Dance’, ‘Beauties of Nature’, ‘Heung Chui’, ‘Dosalpuri’, ‘Yeong Nam Gyobang Chum’, ‘Wonhyang Salpuri ‘, and ‘Hutten Dance ‘.
Ms. Lee Young Nam is the Founder and the Artistic Director of Lee Young Nam Korean Dance Company. For the past 18 years, she has been teaching Korean traditional dance, and producing and choreographing major performances in Los Angeles. By doing so, the company share and preserve Korea’s rich and vibrant culture with Korean-Americans as well as the surrounding community.
