Los Angeles’s Second Annual Korean BBQ Cook-off showcased some of the best dishes by top Korean BBQ restaurants In Koreatown district.  It was a packed and popular event with an estimated 20,000 attendees, proving that Korean BBQ has started to reach the mainstream in California.

There were Choco Pie eating contest and soju cocktail mixing contest followed by Korean BBQ taste contest. BBQ taste contest was presented with food experts, politicians and celebrities as judges and honored guests. Among the judges were Pulitzer Prize winning food critic Jonathan Gold, critically acclaimed  chef Ludo Lefebvre, and award-winning actress Sandra Oh.
