Events at KCCs abroad

The first day of Korean Lunar Calendar, Seollal is a traditional Korean festival that is celebrated with family and relatives, performing certain rituals, enjoying various games, eating delicious food etc.
The students of King Sejong Institute at Korean Cultural Centre India got to experience this traditional festival on 5th February 2019 through a Quiz about Seollal, playing games like Yunnori, Daksaum (Chicken Fight), wearing traditional dress "Hanbok", learning how to perform Sebae - the traditional way of bowing and receiving pocket money from the director, Mr Kim Kum-Pyung, followed by delicious Korean food. Everyone had a really great time experiencing these festivities.

We thank everyone for coming on this joyous occasion and wish you all a very Happy Seollal!
