April Culture Day - Baroque Soul

The concert
In the concert ‘Anima Barocca’, the piano sound of the French pianist Yannick Rafalimanana is harmoniously accompanied by the sound of the cello by Angela Jeanyoung Park, an American of Korean origins. The two artists will perform playing pieces of classical music, with a touch of baroque style, of which the cellist is a specialist.

Angela Park (Park Jin Young)
Chosen by Master Chung Myung-whun, cellist Angela Park was a member of the Seoul Philharmonic for two years, played for the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Stuttgard Chamber Orchestra and played many solo concerts, collaborating with the likes of Bruno Canino , Leonidas Kavakos, Anne-Sophie Mutter and other world-famous artists.
Yannick Rafalimanana
The French pianist Yannick Rafalimanana has built his international concert career with performances in recitals, chamber concerts, regularly in Europe, the United States, South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Rafalimanana has won numerous awards in many world-wide competitions.
