<2010 KOREAN CULTURAL DAY>

The Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles recently celebrated “ 2010, Korean Cultural Day” in Utah and Nevada". Last year, we went to Utah focusing on different aspects of Korean culture such as food and clothes with the highlight being the Hanbok fashion show. This year we went to Utah focusing on performances such as Poppin' HyunJun and Pungmulnori, Crossover Korean Tradtional Music , Taekwondo etc... We received an overwhelmingly positive response from our performances this year. The lobby didn't clear out for more than an hour and there was a standing ovation that lasted for 10 minutes. We truly believe this was a successful exchange of cultures. I hope that this event provides people who didn’t have a chance to meet the Korean cultural with an opportunity to shed their vague understanding of Korea and to view Korea in a better and more positive light. I believe that by understanding one's culture we will be able to become closer with one another. We would like to thank all of them that made it possible and everyone that supported us.
