The 2019 Korean Speaking Competition was held at on June 18th 2019 at the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) with about 30 people in attendance. It was divided into two categories – Beginner and Intermediate. 11 contestants participated in this year’s edition.
They were graded based on: Content of Speech (60%), Language Ability (30%) & Audience response (10%).
The presentations were educational and highly engaging for the everyone involved. At the end of it all, Oluwaseyi Aderogba won the first prize, thirty thousand naira (#30,000) and a trip to South Korea; Anamemena Onyinyechi won second place and twenty thousand naira (#20,000) in the Intemediate category.
In the Beginner’s category Dada Omotola.O. won first place and twenty thousand naira (#20,000) while Peter Edobor-Bello won second position and ten thousand naira (#10,000).
