The concert"Sarang è Amore" is a show that wants - through poetic and musical suggestions - to reveal the deep relationships that bind Italian culture to Korean culture whose poetry, with this show, is presented to the Italian public.
As a counterpoint to these intense and delicate expressions that depict the most intimate nature of the human spirit, the music of the classic Italian tradition that this very attitude interprets with surprising affinity.
The show opens with the fascinating music composed by Ennio Morricone for the film "Marco Polo" by Giuliano Montaldo, a musical overture that introduces the listener into the atmosphere of the East, a true category of the spirit.
Purely Korean, instead, are the compositions by InSang Hwang that are presented here in absolute premiere: a special occasion to listen to the works of the Korean Master resident now in Italy. One of them, La strada does not exist without you, is born from the suggestion of a poem by the Korean poet Seung-ghee Chaee, to perfectly seal the close relationship that links the poetic language to the musical one.
A bond that runs on deep veins, only apparently distant, but that feed on the same sap that is continually surprised by the treasures of Nature and the Soul. Thus the sublime melodies of Mascagni intertwine with the poems of Yun Dong Ju, a refined poet and coherent hero, who died prematurely in Fukuoka prison, who with his collection Cielo, vento, stelle and poesia left us a delicate but poetic world intense and meaningful to become the most popular poet among young people.
Images that overlap in a tight dialogue between Korean poetry - read both in the original version in Korean, and in the Italian translation - and Italian music, with soundtracks written by the Italian Oscar Awards Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone, respectively for “Giulietta e Romeo "and" Nuovo Cinema Paradiso ". The verses of Ko Un and Kim Chun Su naturally intertwine with the Music in a surprisingly well-balanced balance to accompany the listener in a dimension where the arts are integrated and cultures are sisters. An essential dimension made of love. Because "Sarang is Love".
