On 11th July (Thursday) and 12th July 2019 (Friday) Korean Cultural Centre India organized 2-days 'Hanbok Workshop'.
On the first day, students of King Sejong Institute learned about the Korean traditional dress itself and its features. Ms Park Chang-sook, Chairperson of Formal Hanbok Association, explained to the students about the Hanbok and its features through a presentation and a traditional Korean Wedding performance. Students also enjoyed Korean food, which is usually served during the wedding as well as wearing Hanbok.
On the second day, the theme was "Hanbok for Special days" where the participants demonstrated wearing hanboks on different occasion. Ms Park Chang-sook explained to them the importance and varieties in hanboks through a presentation.
