Events at KCCs abroad

On 4th-6th of October, The Korean Cultural Center participated as a guest country at the ‘The 3rd International Adana Delight Festival’ at Adana Central Park at the invitation of Adana Province.

 

The Korean booth, located in the center of Central Park, has been crowded with locals trying to taste Korean food since the first day of the festival.

 

The menu that the Korean booth prepared for the first day was gimbap. Along with gimbap, the menu that captivated the Turkish people was kimchi fried rice. Initially, kimchi fried rice was made by Korean booth chefs for a simple lunch."I was worried that it would be spicy because it was made for ourselves,but we also felt great because the locals liked it." said Kim Deborah, Korean food instructor at the Korean Cultural Center in Turkey.

 

The Korean booth made showcase bibimbap and pajeon on the second day and served tteokbokki and tteokguk on the final day. It is also held a special show of kimchi.
