The National Institute for International Education (NIEED) recently recruited 3 ambassadors from Nigeria based. These are individuals who are have who successfully obtained a degree in Korea, alumni who are socially active within their home countries  and enthusiastic about promoting GKS and the government scholarship opportunities under the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS),

Their duties include:

-      Providing consultation to the local communities about the academic and exchange program opportunities in Korea

-      Promoting GKS programs

-      Working with the Korean Embassy in the selection procedure of GKS towards the end of increasing the quality and quantity of potential applicants

-      Giving lectures on a variety of topics related to Korea

-      Contributing articles for the GKS e-Newsletters

-      Vitalizing the GKS alumni association and its activities both on-line and off-line.

-      Sharing the success stories of other GKS alumni from Nigeria
