Events at KCCs abroad

Korean Cultural Centre India invites you all to the Opening Ceremony of our new exhibition 'Tall Storey: An exhibition on high-rise living in Korea and India' on 22nd November 2019 (Friday) at 5 pm, Baek Nam Jun Hall, Korean Cultural Centre India.

The exhibition is envisaged and curated by Yang Seunghee and Manasvini Hariharan, two urbanists. They are part of the planning, design and research unit of Yangji & Co. and are currently based in Seoul.

Tall Storey documents housing  production in the two capital cities - Seoul & Delhi. While differentiating a hanok from a haveli is obvious, it is difficult to do the same with  a high-rise apartment in Seoul and one in Delhi. This homogeneity of housing typology, which is drastically different from the situation just a century ago, is what we present in Tall Storey.

Experience the comparison between two cities.....architecturally!
