Dong-Ill Shin has been hailed as "one of the leading organists of the world," and he has dazzeled audiences worldwide with his exhilarating recitals. He is a prize-winnerof numerous international competitions, and was awarded the Grand Prix d'Interpretation at France's Chartres International Organ Competition-probably the world's most prestigious- in 2006. He has been a featured artiste on radio and television in several countries, and has performed prolifically in Europe, the USA and East Asia. His last position in the USA before returning to Korea was, Organist/ Artist-in-Residence at the First United Methodist Church of Hurst, TX, and adjunct professor at the Texas Wesleyan University. He is now Professor of Organ at Yonsei University in Seoul.
