Opera 'Pagliacci'

On November 27, 2019 from 8 to 9.30 pm the opera "Pagliacci" was staged at the Multifunctional Hall of the Korean Cultural Centre in via Nomentana 12.

The show was organized as part of the "Culture Day" project which chose the last Wednesday of each month as an opportunity to present Korean performances and cultural content to the Italian public. For the "November Day", the Association of Korean Musicians in Italy has contributed to enriching this event with some of their singers such as Yongjoon Choi, Jiwoo Jang and Jeong Joonkyo.

The Association has chosen to stage the opera "Pagliacci" to commemorate the centenary of Leoncavallo's death with a particular setting obtained using multimedia material. In addition to Ambassador Kwon, ICC Director Oh and about 70 other spectators attended the show.

One of the spectators said "it was nice to be able to see a work from start to finish with a particular setting" and another spectator said "I am at the Institute for the first time and I enjoyed the show today. I will definitely participate in the Institute initiatives ".
