Events at KCCs abroad

In celebration of Asian Pacific Heritage Month, the Korean Embassy’s Korean Cultural Center is proud to support a series of free, public concert performances organized by the Asian American Music Society at The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage on Friday, May 6 at 6 p.m. and at George Mason University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall on Thursday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m.

 

Both evenings programs will include traditional and modern classical music performances by a variety of groups of East Asian heritage.

 

The Thursday, May 5 program includes performances by the Korean American Musicians Association, Korean Traditional Music Institute of New York, Chinese Music Society of Greater Washington, Washington Chinese Traditional Orchestra, Washington Chinese Chorus, and Japanese Choral Society of Washington. The Friday, May 6 program includes performances by the Korean Washington Soloist Ensemble, Korean Traditional Music Institute of New York, Chinese Music Society of Greater Washington, Chinese Nova Music and Art Academy, Washington Chinese Traditional Orchestra, and Japanese Choral Society of Washington.
