Consul General Won-sam Chang attended the dedication ceremony for the Korean War Memorial America-Korea Alliance Peace Park in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, on July 25. In his congratulatory address, Amb. Chang remarked, “I hope that the Peace Park would grow to become a living and breathing memorial that affirms the friendship and goodwill between our two countries while promoting public awareness on the importance of our alliance.” He also added, “I’d like to pay tribute to each and every one of Korean War veterans, dead or living, for their service and sacrifice. I do hope that the Peace Park would be a place of learning history for future generations where they will remember and honor these heroes of the Korean War.”
