The Korean Cultural Center and Korean Film Council are hold an exhibition by six visionary Korean artists. Korean animation and film are known for their distinct narrative styles, electric visual forms and a resonant color palette. As a whole, Korean animation sand films have been received with critical recognition, and the contributions and talents of the artists have yet to be fully realized outside of Korea. This exhibition foregrounds and shares the visions of six such individuals. The artists’ repertoires and experiences include traditional and experimental working methods and media. In addition, many of them have directed, produced, or financed projects, both of their own and others'.
The Korean Cultural Center and the Korean Film Council invite museum curators, gallery owners, film industry professionals, including studio executives, producers, directors, and agents among others to the pre-opening reception to personally meet the artists on Friday, July 8th.
