2011 Korean Speech Contest

On Tuesday, October 11th, The LA King Sejong Institute hosted The 2011 Korean Speech Contest as part of its Korean Language Program.
Fifteen students from Basic through Advanced levels participated to a full, standing-room-only crowd in KCCLA's Ari Hall. The judges were well aware of the challenge, especially for beginner level students and thus students were graded on a scale, taking into consideration the level of each student. Contestants were cheered on and warmly supported, with even the local Korean language media being present. 5 winners were given an award certificate and gift certificates for local Korean restaurants.
